Welcome to In My Town.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the In My Town website and services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

In My Town is operated by **Hodos**, a company registered in Morocco ("we", "our", or "us").

## 1. About the Service

In My Town helps residents and visitors discover local cultural events and places.

At this stage of the project, the Service provides event discovery and browsing features. Some interactions, such as saving or marking events as liked or attending, are currently stored only on your own device and are not associated with an online account.

The Service is continuously evolving, and features may be added, modified, or removed over time.

## 2. Eligibility

You may use the Service provided you comply with these Terms and all applicable laws.

The Service is intended for general audiences. If you are under the age required by the laws of your country to use online services independently, you should use the Service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

## 3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

- use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the Service;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems;
- scrape, harvest, or systematically copy large portions of the Service without our written permission;
- reverse engineer, probe, or test the Service in ways intended to compromise its security;
- use automated systems that place unreasonable load on the platform.

We reserve the right to restrict access where necessary to protect the Service or its users.

## 4. Event Information

We work to provide accurate and up-to-date information.

However, event details, including dates, times, venues, prices, availability, cancellations, and schedules, may change without notice.

Whenever possible, users should verify important information with the event organizer before making travel or purchasing decisions.

In My Town is an information platform and is not responsible for the organization, execution, cancellation, or quality of events listed on the Service.

## 5. User Interactions

At the current MVP stage:

- no user accounts are available;
- saved events, likes, and attendance markers are stored locally within your browser;
- these interactions are not synchronized across devices;
- clearing your browser storage may permanently remove them.

Future versions of the Service may introduce optional user accounts and synchronized data. These Terms will be updated if those features become available.

## 6. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Service, including its design, branding, software, database structure, text, graphics, and original content, is the property of Hodos or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Event names, logos, photographs, trademarks, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of the Service or its content.

## 7. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

The Service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or circumstances beyond our control.

Because In My Town is currently in an early stage of development, functionality may change frequently as we improve the platform.

## 8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we make no warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Service.

## 9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hodos shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount, if any, that you have paid directly to us for using the Service. As the current version of the Service is provided free of charge, this amount will generally be zero.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

## 10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as the Service evolves.

When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those changes.

## 11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Morocco, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
